Starting from Mallaig, join Selkie for this unique opportunity to sail during this wilder season.  The Small Isles are magical islands and come autumn the trees and hillsides turn a burnished orange.  The air is crisper and the light clearer on sunny days.  Our five day trips are timed with the full moon and new moon.  The greater tidal range during these phases of the moon enables Selkie, with her lifting keel, to get in and out of the most sheltered beautiful anchorages at Eigg, Rum, Canna and Muck, facilitating exploration and longer walks ashore. 

Skipper Celia is a qualified and experienced Mountain Leader and with the right conditions,  we will embark on moonlit sails, walks, or gaze up under a starlit skies.  There are so many beautiful secure anchorages and delightful walks around these islands whatever the weather.  Selkie keeps toasty with a diesel stove and radiators in all the cabins.  This time of year it can be chilly on deck but we can keep ourselves warm inside. Sustained by the delicious food prepared by our chef using locally sourced produce whenever possible.
